  • Sheep milk is naturally thicker and more nutrient dense than cow's milk, and it is also easier for many of our customers to digest.

    • Our sheep milk comes with nearly double the fat and protein content of cow's milk! This means we don't need to add heavy thickeners or stabilizers to our yogurt to create its delicious creamy texture.

    • Sheep milk is naturally A2, meaning that it contains a different protein than most cow's milk. This means easier digestion for many people who experience discomfort with dairy.

  • If you struggle to tolerate most dairy products, try sheep milk! Many people who self-diagnose with lactose intolerance may actually be experiencing an aversion to the A1-type protein found in the majority of cow's milk. Sheep milk contains A2-type protein which does not cause the same negative reaction as the A1-type.

  • No, sheep milk still contains lactose. However, our natural fermentation process reduces lactose levels and many people who self-diagnose as lactose-intolerant may actually be experiencing an aversion to A1 protein. Since our sheep milk is naturally A2, this yogurt may be right for you!

  • Our sheep produce milk that is naturally twice as thick as cow or goat milk! Our yogurt achieves its high fat content without the separation or concentration found in many other yogurts.

  • Many people are scared to try alternative milks, but sheep milk is very approachable! Compared to the "farmy" flavor of goat milk, sheep milk is much milder. It tastes like a richer, sweeter version of cow's milk with a nutty aftertaste. Try it for yourself!

  • Our milk is proudly produced on our very own farm, located only 15 minutes away from where the yogurt is made! Our Grade A milk is Non-GMO certified, meeting the highest quality standards.

  • Yes, our sheep yogurt is verified by The Non-GMO Project.

  • No, our yogurt is not certified Organic, although it is Non-GMO.

  • While the yogurt isn't currently certified gluten-free, it contains no gluten and is made in a facility that produces no gluten-containing products.

  • Yes, our sheep yogurt is certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.

  • Yes, the liquid you are seeing is whey and some separation is natural. You can decide whether to stir this in, or pour it off. (Hint: stir it in! This contains good protein and other nutrients you don't want to miss out on!)

  • Keep refrigerated and check the date on the bottom of the cup. Consume by the best-by date for the best taste and texture. Depending on your preferences and storage conditions, the product could last longer.

  • These are vanilla bean pieces that we add to enhance the flavor.

  • Due to food safety regulations, we do not offer visits at this time.

  • The fruit based flavors contain natural pectin to add thickness to the fruit. The pectin is sourced from citrus peels and is only added to enhance the properties of the pectin that the fruits already naturally contain.

  • The plain sheep yogurt contains no added sugar! The flavored yogurts contain a small amount of non-GMO cane sugar. We never use artificial sweeteners or corn syrup.

  • Yes, our packaging is 100% recyclable! The paper sleeve and plastic cup can both be recycled in their appropriate ways. We chose a cardboard-plastic combination to package our yogurt as this design uses 32.7% less plastic material, uses up to 80% recycled cardboard, and has a 17% better carbon footprint than packaging made entirely of plastic.
